Candlelight Vigil for Mike Nicoloro (UPDATED)

Update: The details below reflect a change in schedule and location for the candlelight vigil. The change is apparently due to another event happening at Haverhill Stadium at the time Mike’s vigil was originally scheduled.

A quick update on the passing of Mike Nicoloro: A candlelight vigil will be held for him Monday, 6-9 p.m. at Plugs Pond in Haverhill. This event is free. Folks are asked to bring candles and happy faces to remember him. Anyone with photos should bring them, also. *NO BALLOONS DUE TO LATEX ALLERGIES*

A family member of Mike’s told me his funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Riverview Cemetery in Groveland.

Here’s his full obituary.

  1. Michael’s obituary can be found on the HL Farmer & Sons website and will be in the Lawrence Tribune on Saturday and yes his service is Tuesday @ 11:00 am at Riverview Cemetary in Groveland.

  2. I never knew Mike personally but remember even as a kid being with my mom in DeMoulas and Zayre’s Department Store that was located in Central Plaza and always in DeMoulas. He seemed to be a scary man to me @ the time because did not understand and know any better, he was always talking to someone or himself and non one else was around but as I got older I realized it was from the wars and Vietnam that change lots of peoples lives usually for the worst more so than the better. Mike Rest In Peace and you are finally free of all your demons that changed your life while you were here and now you can rest and feel no pain,
